Small goals for 2013

It takes big and small goals

A big mistake most people make when creating their goals is that most of them are big.  Now there is nothing wrong with that, you need to have your big goals.  That is the end results of your blood, sweat and tears. But if you look at what you achieved after 30 days and see very little accomplished you get very frustrated (this is where most people quit). Hey, it's the beginning of a new year.
The time where you create your goals, give it a time limit to achieve them and start to work towards them.  A few weeks maybe a month later those goals that you put your blood and sweat into, end up in tears.  Why?......
small goals will help you achieve your big goals

Use small attainable goals

This will be the driving factor in using this principle.  You need small attainable goals.  No, not the ones you can accomplish by watching TV, but the ones you have to put forth some measurable effort.  Lets say you want to lose 50 lbs by next year.  Don't start work at losing 50 lbs. Start working on losing 5 lbs in the next 30 days.  Losing 5 lbs will take some effort. watching what you eat and a little bit of exercise.  By the time you have lost 10 lbs you will need to put more effort into losing the next 10.  You will need to bring your game to the next level.  Eating healthier and working out even more.  This will happen for the next 10 lbs and the next.  By the time you hit your goal you are eating really healthy and working out consistently every day.  now put that in perspective to your success and prosperity.  Start out with smaller goals that will exponentially increase month after month.  Here is my goals for this month Jan 2013
1. Finish reading The master key to riches
2. Have 500 page views on my blog
3. Lose 10 lbs
4. Have 2 parties (home business)
5. Have 1 party that I do for one of my partners
These are all simple attainable goals that take effort to accomplish. Understand that when you achieve your goals you will need to create new ones next month that are a little higher.  The one you did not accomplish set them up as your goals for the next month (just realize you will need to work a little harder on those).

 It's not failure

As long as you keep trying with actual effort and you don't hit your goal it's OK. You are not defeated you just suffered an small set back.  You only fail if you quit and you are not a quitter.  If you were you would not be reading this right now :).

Setting your goals

Be realistic, not bold.  Push yourself just a little but not so much that if you don't fully achieve your goals you feel like quitting.  The whole point for this is to feel accomplishments.  when you start feeling you have accomplished something you want to do it again and again and you will make a habit out of it.  That it the real  point do creating small attainable goals.

Keep Moving Forward
