Thoughts are things
This is the most profound statement that I have every heard. It is in chapter one in Think And Grow Rich and it is the truest statement ever. In every book about personal development they talk about many things but they all lead up to the way you think. Your mind being so open to everything it sees, hears and reads is like a sponge. It soaks up every little detail from your day and stores it. It only allows thoughts to travel to your consciousness that you want to think about.Thoughts are things |
Success and Prosperity
Success and Prosperity does not come from action. Action is a byproduct of the way you think. For example, let say you constantly think about how bad everything is and no one will listen to you. Your actions will reflect your thoughts and you will start to spin your wheels. Not much success will come from this type of thinking/action combination. However, if you have a definite major purpose and a positive mental attitude your actions will reflect that thinking process. That is why the statement "Thoughts are things" is the truest statement ever made in my book.Control the thoughts and you control your destiny
No one and I mean no one can tell you how and what to think. We have gotten into a habit in this world of letting people in our minds and controlling our thoughts. We see it everyday on the news and advertising, and they are masters at it. This is a big reason why the T.V. gets turned off and books are opened. Now comes the time where you have to make up your own mind. Start questioning things. Always ask your self, "Does this benefit me with where I want my life to be?" "Does it make a positive difference in my life?" It is up to you and no one else to control what goes in and out of your mind!Keep moving forward
